Vulkanland is a well known and established marketing and tourism concept in Austria. But what makes this region so special? Well, the area itself has nothing special to offer. It’s the people from Vulkanland and their ideas that drive the success of this area.
Showing the beauty and uniqueness of a region is usually not unique. Beautiful but easily replaceable photos show the landscape and smiling people. You get the point.
We wanted to make it different. We showed the quirkiness and the genius of well known people like Toni Krispel, Stefan Krispel, Simon Engel or Lukas Jahn (Locknbauer).
Because they all have something in common. They did something right. And they live in the same area. There are many successful and famous people coming from that area. People that made their way by doing things differently. We created a unique visual language by unveiling the quirky side of these people that contributed to their success. We made the culture of that area visible in a way that has never been seen before.
